French Doors with Window Panes: The Beauty of Natural Light
One of the things I continue to come back to in design is the importance of natural light. Large, oversized windows, skylights, and nine pane doors are always at the top of my list of favorites. There is something incredibly special about allowing a home’s surroundings to become part of the design. Open doors, beautiful windows, and rooms that feel connected to the outdoors all create a sense of warmth and connection.
Natural light has a way of softening everything it touches. It highlights the texture of materials, brings warmth into a room, and allows a home to feel different throughout the day. When we approach interior design in Northeast Georgia, especially when designing homes for families, we are always thinking about more than how a room looks in a single moment.
We think about how it feels throughout the day. How morning light welcomes you into the kitchen. How a living room becomes the gathering place for movie nights and conversations. How your home supports the everyday rhythms that make your family unique.
